Let me start with a brief background on how it all started.

Having qualified as a Montessori practitioner from St. Nicholas Montessori Centre, London, United Kingdom in 1995, I came to see that theoretical knowledge has no value until students can apply it for practical use.

Working as a Montessori Directress, directly with students in the UK and USA, further gave me first hand insight into how students learn. I grasped that they clearly understand concepts, retain information, gain mastery and develop self-assurance when lessons were practical, individualized and tailored to their specific ability.

It is my undiluted belief that every child, including children with special needs, can learn and this can only be achieved within a safe, inclusive, enabling environment like ours.

Our students acquire high level qualitative education that develop their analytical thinking skills and maximize their problem solving abilities. Our 21st century approach promotes collaboration, creativity, communication, critical thinking and empowers with technology adaptations.

Our alumni have continued to transition into their desired secondary schools and are quick to attain leadership roles within their spheres of influence.
Our teaching team is handpicked and each staff member has an attribute that balances our culture and equilibrium. We put God first in all that we do and the rest takes shape.

To date, over 1,000 students have passed through our doors and we take so much pride in recording notable successes.

I am deeply passionate about safety, excellence and holistic development; this is why I am personally involved and take responsibility for every student enrolled at The Learning Place.
